ACAPULCO Spring '25 is the first collection I worked on at SIMONMILLER. This collection was inspired by the popular vacation destination between the 1940's-1970's where celebrities such as Elvis Presley and the Kennedy’s frequented. Thus you can see elements of bright colors, funky patterns, and hues reminiscent of the jungles and beaches of Acapulco, Mexico.

SELLING

The ACAPULCO Spring '25 collection was an immense success with many styles selling out and selling rates exceeding 300% to the previous year. To highlight some of my own designs, the “Del Mar Vest” (slide 3) had an additional 100 units reordered each for our own website, Revolve, and Rent the Runway due to popular demand. The “Sina Mini Dress” (slide 5) was another style that sold out completely on Shopbop and our own website which resulted in an additional 100 unit reorder on top of chasing the silhouette in new fabrications for the following seasons. Not only that, the “Zapata Midi Dress” (slide 4) was another style popular within our customers which led to a 50 unit reorder for our site as well as chasing it for the following seasons.
